Elizabeth A. Cramer
Mrs. Cramer earned a Bachelor of Science in Music Education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania as a piano major and cello minor. She taught strings in Washington & Harford County, Maryland and earned a Master of Science in Music Education from Towson University.
She has performed as a cellist with the Potomac and Susquehanna Symphonies in Maryland and recently retired from the Butler County Symphony after 33 years of service. She is a member of the American String Teachers Association.
Mrs. Cramer is the choir accompanist for St. John's Lutheran Church in Kittanning and has served as an accompanist for Armstrong High, West Shamokin Junior & Senior High, former Kittanning, and Ford City High School Choirs, plus the Armstrong County Choral Festival. She is a member of the Pittsburgh Piano Teacher's Association and has served as a competition judge on many occasions.
Student recitals are held in the spring and fall. Students have the opportunity to compete in the PPTA competitions.
She has maintained a private music studio for over 35 years and many of her students have gone on to successful careers in music and other endeavors. She is a proponent of music for life long enjoyment.
